With heartfelt condolences to the entire Nobess family, we acknowledge the passing of Ron Nobess who was instrumental in the creation of Arcane Horizon Community and the Vulnerable Person Living with a Mental Disability Act of Manitoba.

We thank Ron for his advocacy and efforts to improve the lives of all vulnerable people living in Manitoba, prompting landmark legislation that influenced the creation of similar Acts nationwide, and the creation of our agency which strives to realize the full spirit and intent of the VPA legislation in the services we deliver and the relationships and inclusivity we advocate for.

The family has graciously asked for donations to be made in Ron's name to Arcane Horizon Community to help us continue our work to champion the contributions that vulnerable people can make to our society when provided person-centered resources and consistent staffing.
